Anyone know where me and my cousin can find a merchant account provider for our business. We currently only deal with cash transactions and would want to begin using credit card transactions. Does anyone know where I can find one online?

What are some things to look for when shopping for a merch account?

I mean, with all the ecommerce sites, how can you separate the true-blood from the fakers?

I’m starting up a website with adult content and would like to do business online, what’s a good adult merchant account provider? I have heard that payment processors usually turn down adult content providers, plus those who do choose to serve them charge exorbitant transaction rates. i have also heard disturbing news that an adult account provider had been recently charged with billing irregularities.

I have a high risk business (pharmaceuticals) and I’m currently looking for a high risk merchant account provider to assist me with payments and billing. I am not too savvy about picking the best provider. Moreover, I heard there are so few of them providers out there so I don’t know where to begin!

I’ve had a fair amount of trouble with the merchant account provider I’m working with, and I think I want to look into switching to another, less troublesome provider. Can anyone recommend a provider they’ve tried?

A clients merchant account was frozen by First Data and is claiming they are freezing his funds and thus can not pay my invoice. Months have gone by, same excuse. Before I simply just take him to court for non-payment how much validity is there in his story? How long can a merchant freeze an account and hold his funds?

If you have any experience with a good merchant account provider please pass it along. As well as anyone to avoid.

I just started my internet business and am accepting payments through paypal, but I need more features than paypal can provide me with, like one time offers and such, so I will need to get a merchant account and start accepting payments that way.

Can anyone help me find out more about how to choose one?
