hi im trying to list sport cards on ebay.ca im trying to get it so i will just accept the form of payment (personal check) when i click the box to not have paypal it says (You must select PayPal or a merchant account as one of your payment options). help me please

Is this something they have available for merchant accounts? You get to decide what the percentage is and then they pay it.. is there something like this?

Hi I am setting a new MLM type concept and need to allow members to send money from the UK to the accounts abroad but merchants are too expensive and paypal etc, hate MLM businesses. I have looked at FX companies, etc but there must be a cheaper way for somebody to send and recieve money from abroad without all these ridiculous charges.

The Paypal user agreement says that if you send or receive money exclusively using Paypal balance or bank account, then it’s free. How about requesting money from someone? I was on the page for requesting money, and there are only 2 options to choose from when I was asked for the purpose of the request: goods or service. And it appears that both charge a fee. I do have a personal account (not premier or merchant account).

Can someone explain the fee’s incurred when receiving a payment online? Extra points if you provide an example!

Paypal recently screwed me over for $1398. I have to wait 180 days to get it. Because I had no credit so they terminated my account. Damn lamerz! Anywho I need a merchant account. I looked up the best ones but they require me to have a drivers license and I can’t wait 2 weeks ( when it arrives), yeah don’t have one. I do have an ID. So any help, advice, resources would be great! I need it as soon as possible because frankly, paypal froze my account for 3 weeks and I need to put food on the table for the kids and pay bills. i dont trust paypal and never have. they always limit my accounts with tons of money in it and hold it for months!! then suspend it for all kinds of crazy reasons and ask for everything besides a dna test. im dont wanna bother with them. i want to sell on ebay, but no paypal. whats another credit card processor which is low cost and known? thanks!

I need a merchant service ASAP! Everything I have researched seems to have hidden fee’s as well as “hidden contracts”. I am only 18 and have no credit so Google Checkout denied me and Paypal closed me down because I mad $1000 my first week… somehow they get to keep it for 180 days??? BUTT WIPES!!! ANywho, I just need a good merchant service which can get me on the up and up and back on business ASAP. I have a family to provide for! Any advice would be considered any help would be appreciated. I don’t have a merchant account but I am planning on accepting card payments Via a chip and pin device, you need a merchant number to do this. If I sign up for a paypal payments pro account, aswell as being able to use virtual terminal and website checkout integration, would I also get a merchant number so I can use a chip and pun device to fund my paypal merchant account. I am wanting to do it this way as I only use a personal bank account not a business one due to low credit score.
