Basically, I am a
merchant that operates a fee-based membership organization. Usually clients give me debit or credit cards, but today a new client gave me her savings account number to debit from each month and she didn’t have a debit card or a checking account. Can I do this using paypal or some virtual terminal? Please help.

Christmas 2008. My boyfriend, full time student, and I, unemployed thanks to wonderful recession.. go to EBAY to sell movies for Christmas money a week before using my paypal account for funds to be transferred.
I had $42.xx in my checking account. Two unknown unauthorized charges of $20.99 came through via paypal and left me with change in my checking account.
Then Paypal presented 4 separate shipping charges on two separate occasions (although we paid for shipping at post office to ship off movies) which my bank in turn charged me 8 $30 overdraft fees, totaling $240 (all because i had no funds, due to unauthorized charges).
I had to harass my bank (7 phone calls) to credit back half. Im still left with $120 in ODF’s. The bank says its
merchant error and they need to pay for it.
The
merchant is an international company. We emailed them, they explained strict no refund policy but did end up refunding $20.99 x 2. Ive emailed them again explaining the overdraft fees they have caused me during Christmas time leaving me in the negatives. They have not responded yet, if they do not agree to pay these charges what are my options with them being an international company?
