I want to accept payments on my website, and I’m thinking about using a paypal merchant account. I’m a little hesitant though, because I’ve always heard horror stories about paypal freezing someones account. Does paypal freeze merchant accounts? Should I just set up a merchant account through my bank? Thanks for any help.
Where to go for merchant accounts?
I have a website where I bill my customers $750 every 3 months. I have 30 or so customers. My existing merchant account takes a percentage (about 1.5%) of each transaction plus a monthly fee. Is there anything cheaper? I dont want someone to take 1.5% of my gross companys profit just for being able to accept credit/debit card payments. There must be an easier way. Thanks for your help!

I have a low volume home business that I do for fun in my spare time. I cannot use paypal anymore because my art is considered “adult in nature” even though I have to disagree. Paypal are just nazis.

I am wondering if I will be able to use 2 different merchant accounts for one particular business. Both merchant accounts we opened specifically for this business. They are with different companies. I am wondering if we will be able to use both merchant accounts for the same business?
